Believe that you can…

Believe that you can run farther and faster.  Believe that you’re young enough, old enough, strong enough, and so on to accomplish everything you want to do.  Don’t let worn-out beliefs stop you from moving beyond yourself.”
– John Bingham, running speaker and writer

Today’s workout of the day

Distance:  10.23 miles

Pace:  9:42 min/miles (average)
4:48 min/miles (max) sweet!

Duration:  1:39:17

Calories burned:  1070

The goal for today was to complete ten (10) miles under 1:40. Mission accomplished! This is a great way to start my week.  Y’all have a great day and an even better week.

    • Thanks! Stay encouraged. Try to enjoy each run and focus less on distance. If you stay consistent, eat healthy, and take care of your body, the longer distances will come. My focus on distance is because of a 13.1 mile run in October. Oh yeah, keep a journal too! Thanks for stopping by.

    • Thanks Shawn. A walk and a dance is a nice way to start your day. The discipline that you possess to maintain your writing schedule is no different than what is required for a fitness routine. I think the challenge is trying to squeeze every activity in.

  1. You are amazing and insightful! Very few women, especially women of color, would identify their hair as being a distraction and- have the courage to cut their hair. However, as my hair has grown over the past two years, I can relate to the amount of time it takes to care for our lovely curls. Enjoy your new cut!

    • Thank you!! Busy lady indeed! Trying to keep my head above water; however, Lexa will post very soon. I ran over the weekend, but did not even get the chance to post my stats. I appreciate your encouragement.
