Are my priorities right??
I make time for my daily workouts. I make time for food prep for the week, but I can’t squeeze in time to take down the last Christmas tree and the rest of the holiday decorations.
Yup! That is correct! So what, the tree is still up. With the Superbowl and Valentines Day quickly approaching, I could just as easily add a few more decorations and all is good. Besides, the tree is pretty to look at.
Since today is a snow day for me, I guess I feel like taking the remaining decorations down. Wait!!
Awe man… I forgot I had brussels sprouts cooking on the stove! Hubby turned them off, but they’re already burnt! See this is why I’d rather bake my veggies in the oven. The chance of burning is slim-to-none. I use the oven timer.
Hubby said they burnt “a little.” Haahaa! They are well overcooked for my liking! Besides the brussels are going to take on the nasty flava of the burnt residue on the bottom of the pot.
Anyways making the decision to take down holiday decorations or working out is a no brainer. Workout! Workout! Workout! The tree ain’t hurting nobody in the house, so the rule is, hubby takes it down or it stays up until I feel like taking it down. Lol! 🙂
If fitness is a priority for you, then it is your lifestyle. When it’s a lifestyle, you make no excuses for not fitting it in. Remember… NO EXCUSES!
Today is take down the decorations day… gotta go!
By the way, when I’m done, I’ll be working out my abs at home. 🙂 Oh my gosh! The burnt brussels stink! 😦
